CIMC Vehicles: North American Semi-Trailer Market Orders Show Marginal Recovery, Capacity Upgrade Basically Completed
CIMC Vehicles stated during an investor relations event that North American freight prices showed marginal improvement in the second quarter of 2026, with North American semi-trailer market orders showing signs of marginal recovery. Orders are gradually being transmitted to production and delivery.
Regarding the countervailing and antidumping investigations initiated by the U.S. Department of Commerce, the company accelerated the expansion of "Van-type trailers subassemblies" production capacity at its two U.S. factories. As of now, the capacity upgrade has been basically completed, effectively reducing the impact of the investigation on the group's supply chain.
